Late afternoon sun
Tree and Sculpture
Seattle, WA
February 25, 2011
With its waterfront view and open landscape, the Olympic Sculpture Park is the perfect place to take visitors on a sunny winter day in Seattle. The Olympic Mountains across Puget Sound, ships in Elliott Bay, and vibrant neighborhood enhance the park's location.
We were lucky enough to capture some wonderful late afternoon light and shadows on our visit.
The backdrop of this image is Richard Serra's Wake (2004), a series of 5 mammoth steel structures curving through the park space. To read more about the sculpture, go to SAM's website
